Steel Hawk was among the top gainers today, following its transfer to the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia and its efforts to secure Petronas and renewable energy contracts.
The stock was up 4.35 per cent, rising to 34.5 sen.
The FBM KLCI started the day on a positive note after Bank Negara Malaysia kept the OPR unchanged.
The 30-stock key index will likely hover within the 1,660 to 1,670 range today.
