UPDATE: Meta sites are now fully restored after a 2 hour outage that have been attributed to technical issues.
Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services. We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Facebook and Instagram has been hit by a global outage as of 10.55pm today. Both mobile apps, as well as desktop sites seems to be affected by the outage. Some users who are still able to access the sites are reporting that they have been forcibly logged out from their accounts.
Meta is aware of the issue and “are working on this now” according to a posting on X by Andy Stone.
