MRT Malaysia Line 1 Sungai Buloh – Kajang (KVMRT SBK: Klang Valley MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang) has been operating since July 17, 2017. The project was started back in 2011. The MRT with a 51 km length complements other rail-based transportations in Malaysia such as LRT (light rail transit), Monorail, ERL (Express Rail Link) and KTM Commuter. This line of MRT consists of 31 stations with 7 underground stations (9.5 km) with a total of approximately 84 minutes total travel time.
By using the cashless payment system (Touch ‘n Go card), make your travel easier as this payment system is integrated with other transportation services. In addition, you can also use the traditional coin based ticketing.
Each MRT station is equipped with facilities that facilitate disabled people like Lift and Tactile Paving. In addition, the station is also uniquely designed and becomes an “instagramable” spot. Dengan menggunakan sistem pembayaran tanpa uang (Touch ‘n Go card), buat perjalanan Anda lebih mudah karena sistem pembayaran ini terintegrasi dengan layanan transportasi lainnya. Selain itu, Anda juga bisa menggunakan tiket berbasis koin tradisional.
Setiap stasiun MRT dilengkapi dengan fasilitas yang memudahkan penyandang cacat seperti Lift and Tactile Paving. Selain itu, stasiun ini juga dirancang secara unik dan menjadi tempat “instagramable”. Misalnya saja seperti stasiun Merdeka. Stasiun ini berdekatan dengan “Stadion Merdeka” di mana kemerdekaan Malaysia diumumkan. Stasiun ini dihiasi dengan seni di dinding dengan tulisan Konstituante Malaysia.
Jalur MRT dirancang untuk memberi keuntungan bagi para penumpang di daerah Klang Valley untuk memasuki pusat kota Kuala Lumpur serta turis karena rute melewati berbagai tempat wisata yang sebelumnya tidak dapat diakses dengan angkutan umum lainnya. Bus pengumpan juga disediakan dalam radius 2km ke stasiun terdekat.
