When celebrities suddenly go silent and start archiving or deleting their photos on social media, it inevitably sparks curiosity and speculation among fans. People are left wondering what’s happening behind the scenes, fuelling theories and discussions about the possible reasons. It appears that members of royal families are no exception to this phenomenon.

Recently, Tengku Hassanal, the Crown Prince of Pahang, became the focus of such speculation. Fans noticed that the 28-year-old royal had wiped almost all of his Instagram posts, leaving them to wonder what might be next for him. With only one post remaining, his followers are curious about the sudden change and what message the Prince might be sending.

The single post left untouched is a selfie uploaded on 8th January of this year. What piqued interest even more was the edited caption, which now reads, “Ready when called to duty.” This subtle shift in his online presence has led many to believe that Tengku Hassanal may be preparing for something significant.

Adding to the intrigue, the Crown Prince shared an Instagram Story stating, “No more postings, follow my stories. Chasing my dreams, not likes,” signalling that he will no longer regularly post updates. Shortly after, another Story was uploaded featuring an image of Malaysia’s National Principles (Rukun Negara), further hinting at a more focused, duty-driven direction for his future activities.

Following his recent social media changes, fans speculated that His Royal Highness might be signalling a shift toward focusing more on his duties as the Crown Prince. Others, however, expressed concern, wondering if he had faced harassment and was taking a break from the public eye. Regardless of the reasons, it’s important for people to refrain from spreading unverified rumours and respect his privacy during this time of transition.
