The Federal Court will hear on Nov 12 an application by former Perak state executive councillor Paul Yong to admit new evidence to overturn his conviction for raping his maid five years ago.
His lawyer Hisyam Teh Poh Teik, when contacted, confirmed Yong filed the application early this week.
