Members of K-pop idol group 2PM (투피엠) have all been busy with their own individual solo projects this year. Member Nichkhun (닉쿤/นิชคุณ) has been pretty active in his acting career while Junho (이준호) recently released new music in Japan. Due to this, the group has not made any public appearances together in a long while until very recently.
During an interview on KBS2’s Beat Coin talk show, the members talked about what they’ve been up to lately, and Nichkhun even revealed why he refuses to let his mother go watch his new movie. Here’s the story:
To promote their upcoming 15th Anniversary concert in September, 2PM appeared on the Beat Coin talk show yesterday (31st August) where each member also gave updates about their solo projects. The hosts, dressed in animal costumes, asked Nichkhun about his first-ever Hollywood movie titled, ” The Modelizer”.
When asked to describe what the movie is about, the idol said “It’s a love story, but it’s sensual, intense, and bold,” which got one of the hosts excitedly asking him if he took off his clothes for a scene in the movie. The other members went on and said that the movie star did more than just stripping his clothes off, which got him feeling embarrassed.
For context, in the movie, the Thai rapper had a few NSFW scenes where his character was seen having sex with a woman in the same room as the main character (played by Byron Mann). “I went to work on the latter part of the movie, and I appeared in the first scene, and for the first time, I didn’t want my mom to watch it,” said the “Make It” singer.
While sex scenes are common in Hollywood movies and TV series, it was reported that fans were also very surprised to see the idol performing the steamy scenes in the movie. For your information, “The Modelizer” was released back in July and is currently streaming on VOD.
