OnePlus 11R To Also Launch On 7 February

OnePlus is set to have a big launch in a couple of weeks and there is a smorgasbord of products slated to be launched at the event. The latest news around the launch is that Amazon India has confirmed that the company will be introducing a midrange smartphone to its new lineup, the OnePlus 11R.

The direct successor to the 10R, the phone will apparently make its debut alongside the global release of the new OnePlus 11 flagship. That being said, it’s unknown if the 11R will be limited to China and India like its predecessor or if it will be introduced to other markets.

Nothing is officially known yet about the upcoming device but from Amazon’s teaser image, we can see that it will possibly have a sandstone finish backplate instead of the previous model’s dual textures. However, images of the phone leaked last month, partially revealing its design with a three-camera setup on the back and a physical alert slider.

According to leakster Yogesh Brar, the 11R is expected to run on last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and will apparently be powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 100W charging. He also claimed that it will sport a curved AMOLED display and use a 50MP primary camera.

Aside from the 11 and 11R smartphones, OnePlus is predicted to also launch the Buds Pro 2 earbuds, a new smart TV called the TV Q2 Pro, a new mechanical keyboard, and even possibly a tablet called the OnePlus Pad. The keyboard was made in collaboration with Keychron and has been teased by the company as being customisable — of course, it’s white with the brand’s signature red accent.

As for its flagship smartphone, it was already launched in China earlier this month but the exact pricing and availability in other markets will only be revealed after the launch in New Delhi, India. The event will take place on 7 February at 10PM Malaysian time.
