The Italian luxury watch manufacturer, Panerai, has unveiled the next step in watchmaking elegance as well as the brand’s latest addition to its stellar Luminor collection – the Luminor Quaranta BiTempo Goldtech PAM01641.
Luminor (which means “illuminate” in Latin) is the essence of Panerai. It’s a symbol of Italian design and Swiss watch-making. This collection features bold designs, from the watchface down to the very straps. The most distinctive feature of each timepiece in this collection is the patented crown-protecting device.
As the name implies, this striking 40mm-wide watch is encased in the brand’s exclusive Goldtech, a unique material composed of copper and platinum that gives it a striking golden hue along with a sepia undertone.
This colour scheme creates an intense contrast and pairs nicely with the stark black sandwich dial that boasts a sun-brushed finish. The lumed Arabic numerals and hour markers enhance the contrast with their crisp white paint. The opulent, sleek black alligator strap completes the ensemble.
Powering this ticking marvel is the P.900 automatic movement for precision timekeeping, which not only has a built-in GMT function but also a three-day power reserve.
The Luminor Quaranta BiTempo Goldtech PAM01641 is now available via Panerai’s boutique and website for US$25,400 (~RM118,618).
