Saifuddin confirms Pakistani journalist deported

KAJANG: Pakistani journalist Syed Fawad Ali Shah was deported to the country, home minister Saifuddin Nasution has confirmed.
Saifuddin told reporters that Fawad was deported in August.
Islamabad, Saifuddin said, requested Fawad’s deportation.
According to Saifuddin, while Malaysian media had described Fawad as a journalist, Pakistani authorities alleged he was a former policeman facing disciplinary issues.
