After its first teaser at the end of the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung dropped the first official teaser for the Galaxy S25 Edge. Leaks have gone out the wazoo since, but that has come to an end as the official launch is now behind is. With that, the South Korean tech giant also confirmed its spec sheet, as well as the limited markets it will be available in.

But starting from the top, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Egde comes with a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, with the previously confirmed Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. As with the rest of the S25 range, the Edge comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is paired with 12GB of RAM and a choice between 256GB and 512GB of storage space. The battery is rated at 3,900mAh, with the usual 25W charging.

For its cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is limited to a 200MP main + 12MP wide-angle combo at the back, with a 12MP front-facing camera in front. Notably absent is any form of optical zoom camera, though that may be a drawback of the extra thin design. On the software side of things, it has One UI 7 based on Android 15.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has a starting price of US$1,099, with availability starting on 23 May. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to be available locally, as the device is not listed on the official Malaysian site. It appears in its home market as well as China, as was previously rumoured, and also in the US and Australia, the former also an obvious one as the announcement stream displays the starting price in US$. It also looks like the brand is currently listing the larger storage option for the price of the smaller option, likely as part of a launch promo.
