Chinese actor Li Xian (李现) broke into the entertainment scene in 2019 with his performance in Chinese drama “Go Go Squid (亲爱的, 热爱的)”. Although he’s mainly been active in China, fans were pleasantly surprised when they spotted him here in Malaysia!
According to a netizen on Xiao Hong Shu (小红书), they were recently hanging out at KLCC when Li Xian appeared on the streets. Needless to say, he drew quite the literal following in seconds.
The posts were uploaded earlier today (22nd September) to the platform by very excited local netizens. “A flash of Li Xian on the streets of Malaysia” one captioned, with another asking: “When did Li Xian come to Malaysia?”
Footage showed the actor striding across the road at night near KLCC, looking very at home. Hilariously enough, he had accumulated a small following by then with fans trailing after him like ducklings, phones out to record his presence here.
Netizens joked that even his quick stride wasn’t enough to escape his fans. “He’s probably too troubled to be free,” one chuckled. Another opined that he stood out from among the crowd. “So conspicuous,” they commented. Some marveled at Li Xian, claiming he had just been in Beijing the day before, while others wondered if he would be travelling to other countries any time soon.
Well, we aren’t certain whether the actor is here for work or play, but either way, we sincerely hope he has a good time in Malaysia. Perhaps he’ll make an official visit again soon.
