KOTA KINABALU: A woman is believed to have been murdered in an incident at Kampung Icebox, Tawau, this evening.
However, police have yet to identify the victim and the motive for the murder.
Tawau district police chief Jasmin Hussin said police received a report about the incident this evening and a team was sent to the location to investigate.
“The murder case is still under investigation and information will be released as necessary,” he said.
A video of a child covered in blood next to the body of a woman believed to be his mother went viral on social media today.
In the 24-second video, the child was crying while looking at the woman’s body on the ground.
