TnG And WWF-Malaysia Launch New Wildlife Edition 2025 NFC Charms

Touch ’n Go (TnG), in collaboration with WWF-Malaysia, has launched the Wildlife Edition 2025 charms today. This new series consists of limited-edition NFC-enabled charms designed to raise awareness and funds for endangered wildlife conservation.

Each charm represents one of four endangered species: the Bornean orangutan, Malayan tiger, Bornean elephant, and marine turtles. Accompanied by a specially designed bookmark featuring key facts about these species, the charms aim to educate Malaysians on the urgency of conservation efforts.

A portion of the proceeds from each sale of the newly launched limited edition NFC charms will go directly to WWF-Malaysia to support initiatives that safeguard these species and their habitats. TnG chairman Tan Sri Mohd Nasir Ahmad highlighted that these charms are not just about convenience but also about driving meaningful change, serving as a reminder of the shared responsibility to protect the country’s endangered wildlife.

Meanwhile, WWF-Malaysia chairman Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar emphasised the importance of acting now, as Malaysia’s wildlife faces growing threats. “If we don’t act, future generations may only see these animals in pictures,” he stated.

As with the company’s existing NFC charms, such as the Oyen Edition and others, the new Wildlife Edition 2025 options support seamless NFC-enabled payments as well as top-ups via TnG eWallet. They can also be clipped onto keychains, bags, or wallets.
