This is really a great product. Its a super choice for a gift if you notice someone has a lot of change in a regular jar or cup. I find the minus of coins a bit confusing.
I read the instructions, which I was glad were actually ON PAPER IN THE BOX and I still have to press the minus button for a few minutes when I empty the coins.
I think its also great for kids to set a goal for saving. Its also lightweight so I just stick it in a small bag and take it to Coinstar. If you buy a gift certificate from Coinstar there is NO fee.
Amazon is one of the cards you can get!!! There are a ton more as well. Its a neat and useful product.
The screen turns off whenever you havent used it in awhile which helps save the battery. Sliding the coins in is a little bit of a tight fit but I imagine it is like that to measure the size to mark the correct amount.
Other than my personal struggle with sliding it in, this is great.
The first one of these I received was not functional due to damaged hardware. The company contacted me immediately to rectify the situation. The second bank I ordered functions as intended.
I thought it would be bigger, but it is my fault for not knowing the size, as it is listed with the other product information.
Arrived quickly. Works well! It’s a bit tough for my 4 year old to get the quarters in so that leads to the bank thinking it got a nickel or dime in while he’s trying to get the quarter pushed through the hole.
But I watch him and then adjust the amount with the easy adjust buttons. So far so good!
