After months of speculation, the highly sensational khalwat (close proximity) case between actor Aliff Aziz and actress Ruhainies ended quietly with the two stars admitting to the charges. However, that’s not the end of the fiasco as Aliff’s ex-girlfriend, Sarah Yasmine, steps back into the spotlight.

Recently, the Singaporean influencer shared a post depicting a letter of demand towards the actor. The letter demands Aliff to pay SGD250,000 (approximately RM830,000) in compensation for wrongfully initiating a Protection from Harassment Act (POHA) claim against her. Previously, Sarah alleged that Aliff and Ruhainies had committed khalwat, which the two stars vehemently denied. However, the pair’s recent guilty plea suggested that Sarah was telling the truth.

As a recap, Aliff and Ruhainies pleaded guilty to khalwat charges on 21st February 2025 (Friday). They each paid RM3,000 in fines. The case stemmed from a March 2024 incident where the two co-stars were caught alone in the actress’ apartment. After the case surfaced, Sarah garnered attention for revealing herself as Aliff’s mistress and leaking private conversations between the two stars to prove the khalwat allegations.

However, Sarah then said she received a letter to cease all posting about Aliff after the actor filed a POHA claim against her. Now, Sarah wants the actor to compensate her. She argued that his previous legal action against her was frivolous because he has since admitted to committing khalwat. The media personality also demanded the requested RM830,000 within the next week.

Unfortunately, Sarah redacted many details of the letter for confidentiality. However, the media personality posted another video, implying that she is seeking an apology from Aliff and Ruhainies for claiming she was lying. She also said she would publicly call them out if they didn’t contact her privately. Both her video and letter of demand sparked discussion amongst netizens, with many supporting her move.

As of writing, Aliff has yet to address the issue, so we’ll have to wait and see the conclusion of this case. What are your thoughts on this?
