Another joyous milestone for a celebrity couple! Hong Kong singer Kelvin Kwan (關楚耀) has officially tied the knot with his long-time sweetheart, Joann Law. Their stunning wedding in Phuket, Thailand, was nothing short of a dream come true as the wedding was set against the picturesque backdrop of golden sands and azure waters.
The 41-year-old celebrity proposed to Joann, his girlfriend of six years, in May 2023. The couple joyfully announced their engagement on social media in November of the same year. They celebrated their wedding a year after the proposal on 24th May with a beautiful ceremony in Phuket, Thailand. The much-anticipated ceremony unfolded at around 4pm against the stunning tropical backdrop.
Before the day of the wedding, the Hong Kong star had previously revealed their creatively designed wedding invitation on Instagram. Designed by Kelvin and his wife, the invitation mimicked a passport and boarding pass, symbolising their destination wedding in Thailand. He also shared breathtaking photos taken at their pre-wedding party. Joann, dressed in a stunning deep V-neck fitted wedding gown, highlighted her flawless figure and captivated everyone’s attention.
Fans showered the couple with blessings, leaving heartfelt congratulations on Kelvin’s Instagram. One admirer commented that the video was “So romantic,” while another wished “Eternal happiness to the male god.”
Kelvin’s caption for his wedding video added a touch of humour: “I’ve always acted in wedding scenes in movies and TV dramas, but now it’s really my own wedding.” He also shared Instagram stories that his friends and family took of the wedding, showing netizens what goes on during the big day.
