It’s normal to see fans freaking out whenever their favourite K-pop idols post sexy photos on social media. You’d be surprised by just how creative they can get with their comments when you scroll down the comments section of those idols’ posts.
That being said, even when these celebrities don’t post anything remotely sexy, fans are still just as thirsty. GOT7’s Jackson Wang (王嘉尔/잭슨) and KARD’s BM (비엠) recently reacted to some very colourful comments, and here’s what they had to say:
On Thursday (5th March), The Rockin’ Life Jakarta posted a video of Jackson Wang reacting to some thirst tweets from fans worldwide. As the host read them out, the idol reacted and gave his comments on the posts. Some of the tweets included fans saying:
- “If Jackson Wang grabbed my throat, I wouldn’t need CPR. I’d need a round two.”
- “I know Jackson Wang smells like expensive cologne and bad decisions.”
- “If [he] whispered ‘Good girl’ in my ear, my body would reach spiritual ascension on the spot.”
However, one of the posts that caught netizens’ attention was when someone said, “Jackson Wang owns this bussy,” which left the singer speechless, not knowing how to appropriately respond to the comment. Another moment that went viral was when a fan tweeted, “We don’t need to go on a date. Just pin me against a wall and call it an experience,” to which the GOT7 member nonchalantly replied that there’s no need for violence.
Meanwhile, KARD’s BM appeared on BuzzFeed UK’s YouTube channel to react to fans’ thirst comments. The rapper expressed that he was a bit nervous knowing how bold his fans could be. Despite his carefree nature and confident attitude, there were several moments during the video that left the idol blushing or completely caught off guard. The first comment that surprised him was when a fan wrote, “My goal weight is me plus BM on top. The boy is finneee,” which he described as very creative.
BM also gave a 9.5/10 rating to two comments: “Put me on like sunglasses. One leg over each ear” and “I get so emotional whenever I listen to BM’s music. Always makes me cry from between my legs.” The “Tell My Momma” artist even reposted the video saying, “Ya’ll made me look vanilla with yall thirst tweets. My goodness”, referring to how he did not expect to get shy and flustered by the comments. How would you react to thirst comments about yourself?
