Superstar Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/왕잭슨) is still in Indonesia, making guest appearances on radio and podcast shows. Before making his way to this part of the world, the GOT7 member filmed an episode of Eric Nam (에릭남 )’s Daebak Show, which was published on Tuesday, 11th March.
During the podcast, the singer discussed his desire to be more active in the Korean entertainment industry with his solo projects, his upcoming album “MAGIC MAN 2”, and the hardships he has faced over the years. One of the topics of conversation was ageing, and this is what the idol had to say about his desire to stay young. Watch:

At one point during the latest Daebak Show episode, Eric Nam and Jackson Wang discussed their experiences with ageing and how they are currently taking care of their health, especially after turning 30. The GOT7 member mentioned how he feels about his current appearance, saying, “I think gravity has something to do with it too, because I feel like my face is melting. It got me thinking if it’s time I should consider doing [cosmetic] procedures,” he told the host.
The idol explained that he has been seeking advice about face-lifting and clarified that it’s not uncommon for entertainers to undergo these procedures. Both he and Eric agreed that it’s normal to take care of one’s appearance and pointed out how Korea is particularly known for anti-ageing cosmetic products and surgeries. While discussing his new music, the podcast host then pulled out a photo of the iconic Jackson Wang meme, where the idol himself pointed out how young he looked at that time.

“Look at my face at that time. I could still resist gravity. Look at my skin, man. It’s insane. I could beat gravity at that time,” said the 30-year-old. That moment during the interview went viral on social media with fans being amused by Jackson’s comments about his appearance. Many found it humorous and even quoted lyrics to “Defying Gravity” from the musical “Wicked” while others argued that he shouldn’t worry too much as he’s still very young.
Aside from the ageing and new music, Jackson also talked about the time he experienced betrayal which became the inspiration for his single “High Alone”. The singer explained how he was hurt after being taken advantage of by someone he trusted, saying, “What killed me internally was not the money or anything, it was emotionally. If I lost something physically, I can work my ass off and earn it back again, but emotionally what has been done can’t be undone””.
