It’s usually a mother’s dream to see her children grow up and start their own families; a mother of royal status is no different. Previously, Tunku Azizah wished that her son Tengku Hassanal would get married soon after the birth of her granddaughter Tengku Aleya Norlini back in 2022.
Two years have gone by and it looks like the former Queen of Malaysia will soon get her wish but she may still have some matchmaking work to do. Yesterday (Tuesday, 9th July), a TikTok video was posted by user @/syuroses showing Tunku Azizah arriving at an unspecified event. In the video, the Royal Pahang consort revealed that all of her children will be married soon except for one.

“Tengku Ahmad will be married soon. Tengku Afzan will wed this August. Tengku Hassanal possibly next year. Only Tengku Jihan, my youngest daughter, is single right now,” she said in the video, followed by a few giggles from the crowd. Given that the Princess turned 22 years old a few months ago and is the youngest among her siblings, she still has a lot of time to find herself a worthy husband.
The post instantly went viral with netizens being surprised that the aforementioned Pahang princess and princes are off the market. Many were (jokingly) disappointed that their crushes will soon walk down the aisle while others congratulated the Royal family members on their upcoming solemnisations. A few express their desire to marry into royalty.

Details of each Pahang Royal sibling’s wedding ceremony and who their partners are have not been disclosed so we’ll have to wait for the official announcement from the Pahang Sultanate. Let’s hope that there won’t be any crazy fan issues like the last time someone of royal status announced their marriage.
