Earlier this week, vivo unveiled the V50 Lite 4G and now, it has introduced the V50 Lite 5G. As you can tell from the name, it is the same phone as the former except for an upgraded chipset, but it also gets an extra lens and improved connectivity.
The V50 Lite 5G sports the same 6.77-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an HDR peak brightness of 1,800 nits, and a global peak brightness of 1,300 nits. Inside, the entry-level phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with support for 5G, Wi-Fi 5, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Imaging-wise, it features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP selfie shooter. Backing the phone is a large 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W charging. For protection, it comes with an IP65 rating for dust and water protection along with an MIL-STD-810H rating for drop resistance.

The vivo V50 Lite gets a price tag of EUR400 (~RM1,919) for a configuration consisting of 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. While the company has not announced a local launch date yet, the phone has already been listed on SIRIM, indicating that it will be arriving here soon.
