Local actress Ruhainies hasn’t had the best 2024 so far – from being accused of committing khalwat (close proximity) to being shunned by the public for allegedly causing the separation of a celebrity couple. However, the 32-year-old isn’t letting the public’s criticism and false accusations get the best of her.

Recently, the actress, whose real name is Nur Ruhainies Farehah Zainul Ilyas, spoke up about the recent allegations about her, including the claims that she has a sugar daddy who is sponsoring her. Ruhainies vehemently denied the allegations, saying that her wealth is the result of her hard work as a celebrity. In the interview, the star said, “I just want to live happily. People can say what they want, but I pay my own bills.”

Ruhainies also calls out netizens who spread false rumours online, saying, “Social media can lie left and right, claiming that I have a sugar daddy, I have explicit videos and voice recordings. But where is the proof? Why not share it if there was proof.” Ruhainies is known for living a lavish lifestyle and even owns a unit at the luxurious apartment building, Pavilion Elite in Bukit Bintang.

At the same time, Ruhainies also shared how she felt about the other rumours surrounding her name, saying that she believes that the truth of everything will come out someday. She said, “For now, I’ve accepted that people wouldn’t believe anything I say. The public will believe what they choose to believe, and I don’t blame them.” However, she said she won’t put out any unnecessary statements anymore because she doesn’t want to “feed the trolls”.
