Netflix’s April roster was a blast, but May is looking to be even more exciting, with sizzling historical dramas, skin-crawling thrillers, and spectacular sci-fi adventures.


Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar

Release Date: 1st May

Cast: Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Taha Shah, Fardeen Khan, and Shekhar Suman.

Enter a realm where seduction and power are closely intertwined. “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar” is a series about life in a red-light district in old Lahore. It revolves entirely around the courtesans who live there, their struggles, and their relationships. It follows two powerful courtesans, Mallikajaan and Fareedan, who are constantly competing for control.

These two competing entertainers are constantly finding ways to one-up each other in hopes of eliminating their respective opponents. Set during the British rule of India, they play an intense game of chess where both their love and loyalty to their family and country are tested.


Bridgerton: Season 3, Part 1

Revisit the opulent world of Bridgerton for a third time. Set in the Regency era of Great Britain, the story follows eight close-knit siblings of the noble and powerful Bridgerton family – Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth – as they navigate London high society in search of love, surrounded by friends and rivals alike.

Season 3 will focus on the love story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. After abandoning her crush on Colin, Penelope seeks a husband who will allow her to be independent. Vincent’s increasingly volatile behaviour has alienated him from his friends and family. After struggling with substance abuse, Vincent believes he can reunite with Edgar with the help of his seven-foot-tall puppet, Eric.
