SAN FRANCISCO: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is set to meet his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau while they are attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation economic leaders’ meeting here, today.
The meeting is upon Canada’s request, according to a government statement.
Malaysia and Canada celebrate 66 years of official diplomatic relations this year.
The total trade between Malaysia and Canada in 2022 was RM10.35 billion (US$2.35 billion), an increase of 4.2% from the RM9.93 billion (US$2.39 billion) recorded in 2021.
