There is a chance that Apple might be releasing its Watch SE 3 soon, possibly this year, as reported by 9to5Mac. The original model of the watch was released back in 2020, with the 2nd generation being launched two years later in 2022. Like the two preceding models, the third generation may also come in two sizes
According to the report, display analyst Ross Young shared a post on X stating that the new Watch SE 3 has just entered production, and may come in two sizes. While the exact dimensions have not been confirmed, he suspects them to be around 1.6-inch and 1.8-inch each.

Usually, Apple doesn’t share measurements of the screen specifically, instead giving figures for the casing. These purported sizes for the Watch SE 3 are somewhat similar to the Watch Series 9, which is also available in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm. While that device comes in aluminium and stainless steel variations, the upcoming Watch SE 3 has previously been rumoured to feature a “rigid plastic” design.
Apple is reportedly set to release more than 15 products this year, including the much anticipated iPhone 17 series. 9to5Mac claims that the Watch SE 3 could also be launched in September this year, along with the Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3. No word has come from the company itself however, so take this with a pinch of salt.
