Kuala Terengganu first impressions and trying the famous Nasi Dagang. Let’s explore Kuala Terengganu
Welcome to episode 45 of my trip all around Malaysia. If you haven’t seen the previous episodes you can watch them here:
➡️
I being on the east coast of Malaysia, Kota Bharu in the Kelantan state for almost two weeks, it was time to move on to Terengganu. Another town that is not visited by many western tourists, which makes it again even more interesting for me to visit it. In this video we will be getting some first impressions of Kuala Terengganu and Terengganu state, talking with some locals and trying the Kuala Terengganu signature dish Nasi Dagang. I was not really sure what Nasi Dagang even is, but I knew I have to try it! I also found street fodd pizza, the first time I see that in southeast Asia. I’m really excited to explore Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia in the next days.
When you travel southeast Asia, I can highly recommend you traveling also to destination that are off the beaten path. Some of my coolest adventures while traveling southeast Asia have been at off the beaten path destinations. Talking to locals will get you around in southeast Asia. Most of them are really friendly towards foreigners. You never really travel southeast Asia unless you also adventure around some areas outside the typical tourist destinations.
What do you think about Nasi Dagang? Do you like it or would you like to try it? Let me know in the comments ⬇️
