Some people, on the other hand, have difficult managing both a blog and a website at the same time. Perhaps it is because they have not the organizational skills necessary in order to smoothly manage both. Whatever the reason, there will be people who way the need to learn and eventually master HTML. Most blogs are free. A lot of them are manageable. But can these positive things about blogging truly make up the “pro” factor of blogging? What about the cons, then?

If a lot of people can say that they can master the ins and outs of a blog, we can probably assume that they are confident in being able to express themselves and become experts in their own right. But with this mindset, some people fail to edit or fine tune their writing style. In this case, quantity rules over quality. And because it is a free world, and there are millions of bloggers out there, it is rather difficult finding great blogs that not only have wonderful content, but also written in a professional way. It is practically similar to locating a needle in a haystack, so to speak.

But if you consider yourself an online entrepreneur or businessperson, blogs can definitely work to your advantage and help you increase your profits. Blogging is advantageous for you because it can help you develop closer and stronger relationships with your clients when you provide them with useful and well-written information on a regular basis. Doing this will also promote loyalty and the desire to show staunch support and appreciation for you as an online entrepreneur.

Putting up a newsletter may also have the same impact as that of a blog, but most newsletters do not have an archive function. Without this archive function, the different search engines all over the Internet will not index such newsletters. Blogs, on the other hand, are more the search engines’ priority: they scan such pages everyday, which means that you as a blog owner will be able to reach out to a wider audience and the same time protect yourself from any accusations regarding spamming.
