Touch ‘n Go (TnG) has introduced a new limited edition NFC card which is much different than its usual offerings. Apart from featuring a unique graphic, this version is the first to include a built-in light-up function.
Befitting its “You light up my life” theme, this limited edition release features an LED-equipped lightbulb which activates whenever you tap the NFC card for payments. According to the company, it will also light up whenever you top-up the balance via the TnG eWallet app. While it’s essentially a novelty, the lighting effect adds a playful and quirky touch – even if it does mean spending money just to see it glow.
Retailing at RM27.00, the “You Light Up My Life” NFC card appears to have already sold out online via TnG’s official online store on Shopee. However, there’s still hope for those who are still interested in securing one.
According to the company, the card is still available via its Nu Sentral and Bangsar South hubs, though it did not say how many are left. Given that it is a limited run, you may have to act fast.
