Using Malaysia PayPal Account For Online Transactions

0

Malaysians can now look forward to doing business online globally using their Malaysia PayPal account as PayPal has finally allowed Malaysian banks to link to it.

The Early Days

Previously I heard from friends in Malaysia on how frustrated they were as they wanted to sell their products online but because PayPal a few years ago did not recognize Malaysia as a safe place to do online business. So they were not willing to allow Malaysians to even set up a PayPal account. Here my friends in Malaysia had to resort to asking for help from other friends who had a proper PayPal account to help them receive payment for goods sold in US dollars. Although they could set up an account to purchase stuff online, it was only recently that Malaysian banks have been able to link up with PayPal in order for Malaysian PayPal account holders to receive payment from PayPal direct into their bank accounts.

Faster Access

Now that PayPal has confirmed that they will be opening a regional branch office in Malaysia, they have been aggressively promoting their services to gain as much market share as possible. Malaysians could now sell more of their goods online and accept payment via PayPal which they could link to their bank accounts. This has provided faster access for Malaysians to receive payment and is encouraging many others to utilize this fast service. As long as you have a PayPal account, you can basically handle a range of online transactions from sending money, buying goods, receiving payment and selling on eBay. With a Malaysia PayPal account, Malaysians can link their own credit card, debit card and bank account to their PayPal to run an online business or to make payment to their suppliers speedily.

Secure Transactions

People know that when they see PayPal, they can rely on its secure services as well as its buyer and seller protection policy. This encourages more secure transactions to be done as buyers can shop confidently and sellers can rest assured that they have a secure payment gateway to rely on. Whiche shopping cart software package that you choose to use, you can be sure to find PayPal as one of the main payment gateway providers have been offered. In fact, PayPal has recently collaborated with Maxis, one of the main telecommunications provider in Malaysia offering their customers the option to pay for their bills using PayPal.

Summary

Malaysians now have a greater flexibility to set up their own online business using any shopping cart software as long as they have a PayPal account. This helps them do business speedily and securely.
