As the saying goes: “New Year, New Me”, actress Mimi Lana is hoping to start 2023 on a good note. That includes staying healthy and being consistent in her physical activities.
Just recently, the 27-year-old Malaysian star was slammed by netizens for uploading videos of her working out at the gym. What made netizens enraged was the outfit she chose to wear for her workout session – a beige tank top and black shorts.

In the Instagram post, the actress is seen at the gym taking mirror selfies and working on toning her body. Despite being quite slender, we can see that she has gained some muscles in her arms and legs. In the caption, she wrote “Happy new year everyone!“.
The 27-year-old took various videos of herself working out using several different types of gym equipment with parts of her bare skin exposed for the public to see. Apparently, this triggered some netizens because as a Muslim woman, netizens insist that she’s supposed to “cover up” from head to toe.
Scrolling through the Instagram comments, many netizens believe that the model is too sexy. One feisty netizen wrote, “I am ashamed to look at this.” Another wrote, “Thank god she’s not my sister. Or she’ll get a smack from me.” Many others commented that she is pretty but have an issue with her choice of work out attire.
Thankfully, Mimi Lana seems unbothered by the haters. You do you gurl 😉
