Vietnamese Shop Found Building AI Servers With Multiple RTX 5090 GPUs

A Vietnamese PC known as Nguyencongpc, recently posted a picture of a custom rig with multiple units of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090. While it may look like the rig would be deployed for cryptomining, it was actually built to facilitate a more common trend: AI workloads.

The shop, which posted their services on a removed Facebook page, advertised that it was now building AI servers based on the RTX 5090 GPUs. Glancing at this photos, each “server” comprises at least seven cards, minimum, and requires a total of two 2000W PSUs, as well as a motherboard that can support multiple graphics cards.

As you would imagine, these servers don’t come cheap. With each RTX 5090 GPU now costing well above the MSRP of US$1,999 (~RM8,874). Couple that with constrained supply issues and the recent US tariffs announced by President Trump, prices for AIB partner cards, to say nothing of Founders Edition models, could end up costing more than US$4,000 (~RM17,748).

Ultimately, and just as it was during the cryptomining craze, gamers are the ones who bear the brunt of these actions – many just want a card to game, not to further the ongoing AI craze.
