Donald Trump is by far the best when it comes to self-marketing and self-branding. There is no way anyone can watch this iconic business man at work and not realize that he is a genius at putting himself and his company 'out there'. In the world of 'The Donald' there is no such thing as "too much" and this proves even truer when you talk about his way of promoting and marketing his Trump brand.
While on an American Airline jet flying to Oklahoma City to visit my girlfriend, I was totally intrigued by Donald's Trump's quarterly magazine simply known as, what else 'Trump'. From cover to cover, it is Trump this and Trump that. So perhaps, one may think that Donald Trump is too much or that he lays it on too thick for comfort. Well this could very well be true, but it is definitely a strategy that should be considered. You really have to think about it economically. Donald Trump saves countless of thousands and even millions on marketing efforts. When was the last time you saw a 'Trump' television commercial? When was the last time you heard a 'Trump' radio ad? And most importantly, when was the last time you saw 'Trump' promoting any brand other than his own brand? You can answer "rarely" or "never" to any of the three questions. When you have made your millions to billions on promoting a brand that is synonymous with excellence and top-of-the-line products and services, your traditional paid marketing campaigns are no longer needed. All you have to do is continue to be the loudest guy in the room when you are talking about your brand and yell "You're Fired" and you too can be successful and I do not mean this in an insulting manner in any form. I respect Donald Trump and his business sense.
Just to give you an idea of how powerful the 'Trump' brand is, many of ventures include, Trump Steaks, Trump Signature Suits, Trump Signature Watches, Trump Vodka, Trump Magazine, Trump Furniture Collection, Trump University, and of course Trump Realty . These are just the 'Trump' businesses that I could pull off the top of my head, but knowing 'The Donald', there is a lot more under that grand 'Trump' umbrella.
Muhammad Ali is the greatest boxer, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player, Ronnie Coleman is the greatest pro bodybuilder, Warren Buffett is the greatest investor, Bill Gates is the greatest computer nerd, and Donald Trump is the greatest self-brander period and we can take a little from each of these great men and make our businesses a success.
